Born from a Better Standard
Nestma was founded by a team of women who shared a quiet frustration that eventually became a calling.
During pregnancy, bird's nest had long been a trusted source of nourishment, passed down through generations as a ritual of care. But when they went looking for something they could truly trust, the options fell short. Off-the-shelf brands were loaded with artificial flavourings, preservatives, and stabilisers. So-called "premium" dried bird's nest was chemically bleached to appear white. Retail brands quietly substituted white fungus to protect margins. And the pre-made options? Inconsistently cooked, overly sweet, and filled with filler ingredients that diluted the very thing they were paying for.
The hassle was real. The compromise was constant. And the peace of mind they deserved simply wasn't there.
